Technology has been improving more and more every year and as every year passes, tech improves more rapidly.

So without wasting much time, let’s get on with it.

Biometrics rule:

Event though one cannot acknowledge Apple as the creator of technologies such as Touch-id(back in iPhone 5s) or face-id(in iPhone X) but it has brought them into mainstream. Facial recognition had existed before face-id but it was slow, unreliable and inefficient.

Companies such as Google, onePlus are boosting the growth of iris recognition and fingerprint.

Companies are promoting dual cameras on the front as well as rear. 2018 might bring triple cameras on the rear or even 4 of them.

Lightening-fast, long lasting batteries:

2018 promises less battery-related worries . Graphene,a form of carbon, if used for batteries instead of lithium could increase battery life by almost 45%, and your phone could get charged in about 10-12 minutes!

Long smartphones:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced in late October that cars currently in production — which includes the Model S, Model X, and future Model 3 — will be built with new hardware that will enable to drive sans the driver, pending regulatory approval and further software validation.

It’s a smart move on Musk’s part — equip the cars with the necessary technology now so they are ready once self-driving cars gain federal approval. Musk said a
